If you’re considering becoming a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey, there are a few requirements you must meet before you can take the licensing exam. First and foremost, you must have a high school education or equivalency, and you’ll need to complete 150 hours of prelicensure education. This education is split up into three courses: a 90-hour general real estate course, followed by two 30-hour courses on Agency/Ethics and Office Management and related topics.
